Adult Tennis

Woking Tennis Club has a thriving adult section, from late stage students all the way up to players in their mid-90’s, who enjoy some of the finest tennis in our beautiful Surrey setting. As an LTA affiliated venue, we welcome all levels, whether complete beginners looking to learn a new sport, or experienced competitors keen to compete in National Leagues.

The Club runs numerous Mix-In sessions each week for adults to enjoy a regular games, including; Coach supervised Beginner and Intermediate Mix-In’s, Men's and Ladies Team practises, and a range of weekday daytime sessions. All are very social and often ending with a coffee & cake, beer or glass of wine, in the bar afterwards!



With some of the strongest teams in Surrey, over 20 Ladies, Men's, Mixed and Senior Teams currently compete in the Woking & District, Chaucer, Surrey, National and Mid-week leagues, so there's plenty of opportunities for varying levels of player. An annual team celebration dinner is held each November to celebrate the year’s achievements.

The Club offers an extensive programme of coaching for adults from beginner to team level, all easily bookable on a PAYG basis. Private lessons (individual or small group) are offered with any one of the popular LTA qualified coaches, simply log in and check the availability diary.



The club runs a number of social competitions throughout the year with various themes including Davis Cup and Champagne Doubles. There is also annual Club Championships in the Summer and a Seniors Competition in the winter. For those who enjoy regular singles at any level we have a very popular online box league, then there’s also the Woking Open and Senior Woking Open for those who wish to compete at a higher level!
